VANIA & ALEX

Our Story

After more than 7 years the love story of Vania and Alex is culminating in Pisco, Peru surrounded by family and their closest friends. Going all the way back to Hopkins baseball games and Sunday brunch, their inevitable connection sparked when an emboldened Vania approached Alex for the first time at a party. After taking the reigns, making the move and asking HIM on a first date, the rest is history. Since then they've weathered an extended long-distance stint, managed going to different schools, traveled the world, adopted the light of their life (aka, Nappa ◡̈) and most importantly, have begun to build their life together. For all the places they've gone and milestones they've achieved, there is still much more to come and this celebration is just the beginning! It is such a special time for both of them and celebrating this union in a place that holds such a special place in their hearts with the most important people in the world will make for an unforgettable weekend.

Malecón - Miraflores, Lima

Malecón is an avenue that winds on top of the cliffs in Miraflores, beautifully lined with parks and gardens along its way. It's certainly the nicest part of Lima. Simply gorgeous.

Explore nightlife at Larcomar

Larcomar is a trendy spot on the Malecon that was developed as a shopping mall with fashion, entertainment and “gastronomy,” according to its website. Here, you can find around 100 stores on a shopping trip.

At night, Larcomar is home to Lima Bar, an upscale bar and club, where Lima’s party crowds go for big nights out. Expect higher prices and a dress code.

things to do: Paracas

Islas Ballestas

South of Lima, sea lions, Humboldt penguins, flamingos and other protected species live in harmony. It is the Paracas National Reserve, which takes its name from the sand storms or “paracas”, which are common in the area. When crossing by boat to the Ballestas Islands, where literally thousands of sea lions live, you can clearly see, on the side of a hill, a huge geoglyph of uncertain origin called El Candelabro. One more of the enigmas to which this area of Peru has accustomed us.

HUACACHINA

Huacachina Desert Oasis is home to the largest Sand Dunes in South America and an incredible Oasis that simply has to be seen to be believed. Huacachina has become the fastest growing tourist destination in Peru along with Rainbow Mountain and is a MUST for anybody coming to Peru

DUNE BUGGY AND
SANDBOARDING TOUR
Undeniably the most popular activity in Huacachina, the sandboarding and dune buggies are sure to take your breath away.

There is a reason that people come from all over the country to try out this activity. It’s a lot of fun! Sandboarding is suitable for all skill levels: beginners can go down the slopes on their stomachs, and the pros can go down similarly to a snowboard.

Inti-Mar Paracas Bay

We invite you to live a once-in-a-lifetime experience in the bay located in Paracas National Reserve. Inti-Mar offers experiential tourism. Here you will learn about Scallops farming and will be able to examine specimen while still alive. Later, you can enjoy homemade recipes in our already well-known restaurant or spend a full day at our private beach in the middle of the desert.
